Mindy here, and just to inform you all, I've changed the class blogskin.
The unpersonalised version of the current skin: Tranquility. / !MD♥

Please note that best view is Safari & Chrome. It looks kinda screwed in IE. I'm not sure about MFF.

The main effects colour I chose is orange, 'coz it symbolises happiness & cheerfulness, and our class is just that♥.

I'll be changing the cbox soon too, any objections? I know it contains memories, but the spamming and everything is seriously irritating.

I've used like bold, italic, underline & blogquote in this post to allow you all see the effects ^^.

If you do not view it in Safari/Chrome, there will be no navigation hovers, header hovers, image hovers, header text shadow, and the links will be aligned wrongly.

i hope all of you at least had some fun today,
if not our hard work planning has all been wasted.
maybe to you guys, it was a total failure, and you PROBABLY thought that we didnt put
in effort in the planning stage, but just to clarify, we probably spent at least 24 hours in total in the planning. We personally made a trip down to Pasir Ris park to take photos to make the jigsaws. Be it the jigsaws, math equations, the station games, were all planned by us from scratch. So if you remember that you said something very hurtful today, something i remember clearly: "you can ask us pay money what. you people can go and get professional planners to plan our class gathering".i dont wish to name those people out. Please go and think about it, would it be more successful if you personally planned it? If you don't have the ability to, why are you doubting our abilities?

If i seem like i'm scolding you or something, so sorry. it's just... it wasn't as fun as we imagined it to be. but i have to say, this is partly because of some of you refusing to be enthu and work with us. :(

I'm not trying to get you people to thank us or something lah, just that i want you guys to know how much effort we put in and please do not pass hurtful remarks that easily.

Despite so, i had quite some fun today, especially the stretch the bottle! it was hilarious. waterbombs were okay i guess... oh, we would like some feedback on the class gathering today. Charmaine, who put in so much effort in this gathering, wanted so much to come but she had no choice, and this is the kind of attitude you gave us?! -.-

Just want to say that, if you look at the tactics the spammer(s) use, its quite similar. Like u look at the older spams, u'll find that some of the phrases are similar like the '(REAL)' and 'omg the below one is not me!' stuff. Sometimes the language the spammer(s) used is unlike the owner of the name the personality, then very easy can noe is fake de.. hope this can be sort of useful?

LOL. there has been a SERIOUS SPAMMING in our cbox lately. Wonder who is so IMMATURE AND BORED -.- urghh! well, this is definitely not some place for bored ppl! xD. ANYWAY, LOL. apparently, this person email is "j@hotmail.com" dunno who lahs -.- HAIYOOO..

Ways to differentiate, US and HIM/HER.(most prob him, cuz girls are not that bo liao, don't u think so too, spammer? ;D)

1) Well, usually the spammer will post at timings NEAR TO EACH OTHER. so yar, LOL. beware of that. but if just nice lets say me and chelsea tag together den maybe not lahs.

2) LOOK AT THE CONTENT! (its super impt! >_<) the spammer will probably spamm some NONSENSE, like what he is himself.

3) LOOK AT THE NAME! see whether there was any diff between real and impersonated spammer.

4) Look at the link/email. (though the spammer would most prob tend to change -.-)

well. LOL. yar, anyway I suspect its someone that we all know. In fact, PERHAPS, even some boy like justin and jiangying who are jealous of pretty girls like us. cuz if its other ppl, why would they know im short? and more impt, well. why not talk about evelyn? According to Mr Soh,
the pizza will be delivered at 1.15 so that u all dont nid to rush and the pizza will still be hot.
he said assemble at the canteen as 5A doesn't allow us into their classroom.
Like what gillian said, the canteen will be v.crowded, so those that will be reaching early, pls go "book" table first.
he will come and look for us when he has a free period and I've ask him to ask huang lao shi to come as well le.

please do make an effort to collect eraser dust. as in not like purposely go erase, but at least collect when you erase stuff naturally. i have bought a container and in order to fill it, you all have to make an effort to collect. please do, its very impt. pass it to us on that day itself. and btw, as i'm not able to confirm what time the rafflesians will be let off, i am unable to confirm the details of what time we're going back. so sorry. will confirm asap.

we'll be giving, eraser dust as a class for mr soh, and a notebook for ms wee as a class, though u can still giv other present individuallly or as a group.

ok, i know most of you still dunno what is goin on, so, i'm here to tell u.

TO ALL 6.1-ians:
(pardon me if u are nt in 6.1, this is th only platform, we can broadcast our msg)

Cliquerlites brought a notebook for ms wee, to give as a class, it is for us to write a message in it.

currently, the notebook is with gillian, and only me, zhijie,evelyn has written it.

so as time is tight, tis is our plan:

*NOTES:
Pls be prepare to pay 20cents each for th notebook, if possible, pay when u write th message, if nt pay on th same day.

I have some pics for sixa gatherin too! And the gatherin was realli fun!! Omg how much time did u cheer-u-ups spend on planning this? For those who didn go, I'll relate the entire event for ur benefit. (say evelyn is the best! :D)

Hahahs anyway we gathered at rm mac, then val brought us to the bus stop, whre we took the 89 to downtown east. When we got to the park, it was like damn hot and we waited for like 30 mins for the rest of the cheer-u-ups to arrive. Oh wait rewind rewind, when we were about to get onto 89, charmaine, gillian they all arrived, so it was like very zhun la.. Ok forward again, haha. Ermm anyway when they arrived, we were very grateful for the pepsi that they brought cos we were damn thirsty. Wtfish the boys they finished 3 and a half bottles of pepsi in like 2 hrs. Peishan, jiawen and i went to ehub to buy 9 more bottles of coke and pepsi. It was HEAVY!!! Arghhhhh, but at least it lasted until the end :)

Neways, before the coke-buying, we played some games. And the ducky walk walk, worst! so dizzy la! Then the body parts game was rather fun, cos me and emily kept picking the parts that are the best, like thumb & pinky finger, stomach & elbow. Then came the hand twisting thing. In the end, my grp formed 2 triangles haha! Then is the walking wif paper plates de right? Aiya i stm la hehehs... Errr then buy coke le went back played double whacko, the cheer-u-ups were making water bombs in the meanwhile and keep throwing water bombs over!! Val emptied a water bomb over my head.......><

Then we bbq-ed for a while then water bomb!!! Errr haha the water bombs only lasted for a short while, most of the time we were just pouring water.. I have some pics, later then show. Oh anyway at the end of our waterfight th clique(dun always use cheer-u-up, must have xin xian gan mahs :)) wanted to take a class pic of all of us soaking wet. I so kiasu say i only half wet, val, charmaine, yh, and dunno who dragged me to pour water over my head!!!!!!!! Then we continued wif the bbq. Oh and there was 1 part, charmaine and yh was trying to (can i tell?? ermm i think those who wan to noe go ask joanne or yh or charmaine, :))

Then we played dog and bone. Actually is dog and bone water, but alot of pple confused, so in the end dowan water. Then one time we were rushing for the "bone" then emily sort of fell over me and my lip kenna bonged by her head and then internal bleeding(ouch!) Then bbq again, then played pass the parcel. Then after that most of the pple went home..sad.. Some of us stayed back to clean up, then we went home. 说来也很好笑, actually majority of them wanted to take bus, but then dunno why suddenly alot decided to lobang. So in the end, all take car. The boys were in gillian's van. Charmaine went in emily soh's car. Then my dad fetched lifern and val home. So here are the pics:

Meeting Place: Rivervale Mall, 1pm SHARP. late people will not be entertained (outside Macs). Person responsible for bringing you guys to the bus stop is VALERIE. (the clique would not be meeting you all at rm, will be going to help carry stuff.)

[Valerie would be taking you guys to gillian's house downstairs there, then after we bring the food and stuff down we will take the bus from the bus stop near gillian's house.]

Things to bring:
1) at least $5 to pay for the BBQ (exact amount to be confirmed by gillian after buying all the things)

2) A WHITE SHIRT (we will be playing water bomb and other wet games, so if you get wet, you can change into a WHITE shirt (so that we look like a class).
if you have NO WHITE SHIRTS, bring any shirt (last resort, or at most dont change.)

3) Camera (optional) take note that when we take class photos, we cant possibly use all cameras and take right? so if you bring cameras, please just take small group photos.

4) YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE. [TAKE NOTE: THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT CAUSE WE MAY BE DEHYDRATED AND WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING ALOT OF DRINKS SO BRING YOUR OWN WATERBOTTLE. BEST IF IT IS BIG. (LIKE 800ML OR MORE).

5) tidbits. one packet would do. not compulsory. if you get hungry before the BBQ starts, you can eat them.

erm, for the class gathering rite...
most prob is gonna be bbq
and me and charmaine had already calculated the total cos, and divided it to bout 25 ppl
and each person may have to pay about $5/$6 or so...
i noe is a bit ex, but afterall, it is still VERY reasonable, for bbq
and u noe why that time our bbq only "cost" $2 each?!
is because chels is paying most of it!!! and still got singping,lifern,zhuomin and charmaine
because they scared if above $2 no ppl will wanna go
and that time some of u even complained like hell when it was $2
and chels paid like $100+++
and it is DAMN unfair!!!
so about $5 or $6 isn't unreasonable...
so pls DUN complain! PLS! cos this is suppose to be a joyous event!!!:)
and btw, the bbq pit is $20 per pit, and i will be booking it once we confirm everything, so pls tell me the dates where u are NOT free asap!!! THANKS LOTS! :)

ya and, i will be organising some games for u to play, as a whole, and not in ur small groups

6A GATHERING = SUCCESS!
by popular demand, i'm here to blog about yesterday's gathering!
okay i only reached at 4.10, so i dunno what happened before that kay?
so anyway, when i reached, the boys were playing BBALL while the girls are playing cai ge you xi i think.
then after that, we played murderer as a class (or rather 20 people half a class)
but the boys seemed much more interested in bball tho.
mr soh was having a workshop then, so we entertained ourselves.
when mr soh came, we were so hyper and excited lor.
BUT ALAS! GILLIAN HAVEN COLLECT THE CAKE!
then she, yinhang and evelyn went over to rm to collect it + buy tissues.
while they were doing that, we tried to stall time and we chatted with mr soh (:
LISTEN UP 6A: if you go back on teachers day, mr soh will buy us pizza!
so better go back! :D
i think mr soh suspected something and he keep asking where's yinhang. hahaha.
when they came back, a few of us went to the kindness corner (the entrance there) and put the candles + light them. however, no lighter & matchsticks!
how?! we went around asking for lighters and luckily in the end, the security guard had one. (HE SMOKES OMG.)
then he said, "you all wanna put the school on fire izzit?" hahaha.
so we were rushing through and ALOT OF WAX dripped on the cake.
so we finally made our entrance in, and ALOT of people were looking at us. (i think.)
i think mr soh was touched bah.
the cake was pretty! see the pic. (thank me and gillian for choosing such a nice one.)
he was like quite surprised lor.
then we took group photos! (5A pupil clara helped us to take).
there was a whole pile of hps and we had to pose for a long time. haha.
then he cut the cake. (P/S: he no skill de)
surprisingly, WE FINISHED THE 1.5KG CAKE.
but each of us had quite a big piece though.
after that, gillian gave the cards (that most of us wrote) to mr soh.
he was touched! YAYYY.
after that, he chased us home cos he's busy + he dont want to waste our time.
me, charmaine, yinhang, gillian and evelyn went to rm to eat dinner after that. (:

whoopie! anyway, DONT JUST READ THIS POST, READ THE LAST 2 POSTS TOO.
anyway, i realised no one has "officially announced" the next gathering,
so i shall! YAY!

Date: 26th March 2009
TERM TWO WEEK ONE THURSDAY
Time: 3.30pm-6.30pm
Meeting Place: RVPS school front gate 3.45pm.
Activities: games such as murderer, (i'm sure my clique has planned :P),
as the date is 1 day after mr soh's birthday, and i've been mentioning about the cake, i'm sure you people know what i mean right? (:, and probably chatting, talking crap among 6Aliens and Mr Soh and other teachers! YAY!

i guarantee that it will be great fun, hopefully not like the previous gathering wor.

WHY?! the feeling's not the same anymore, WHY?! have you all changed?!
dfs, i agree with you. i dunno what's the problem, but simply said, the gathering wasn't fun enough.
for example, the cedar people stick together. (no offence though, tat's what i feel.

okay sorry eileen. i forgot to update about last min changes.
we're not going back on 29 anymore.
cos the dunman high people cannot make it. (& some of the rgs people like me)
srsly horh, the dhs people very ma fan leh. your timetable always have last min
things one. sigh.... okay no offence lahs. :D
so the changes are:

Date: 30th Jan 2009 (Friday)
Time: 2.00pm-around 4.00pm (anytime between this period just contact mr soh)
Meeting place: (for those who can reach by 2.45pm) School front gate
People going: XM group, RGS (i dunno about the others), DHS, RI (and someothers)

hey, people.
i have some things to clarify.
THOSE WHO ARE ONLY RELEASED FROM SCH AFTER 10.30AM ON 23RD JAN CANNOT GO BACK TO RVPS.
cause mr soh and the other teachers will be having cny lunch.
unless you just wanna see the school. (WHICH IS CRAZY).
so anyway. because most of us cant make it on 23rd Jan,
i've organised another date for all of us to go back.
DATE: 29 Jan (thursday)
TIME: about 3.30pm-5.00pm
as mr soh's having table tennis training on that day, he will be there till 5+.
so we can go back and have a chat with him. (if you want lolls.)

and to EILEEN, the celebration's not on 28.
we're going on 29 because many people cant make it on 28.
so far the people going: xm, dunman (joanne), cedar & maybe rgs people.
however i may not make it cause i will have chinese orchestra trial on that day.

Hey guys, I'm Eileen. Hope you guys still remember me wors ;P So, how was "the new environment"? Mine was fantastic, fabulous and everything to describe that it is the best!(No offence though) Its so big, and the school juz rocks!(not literally.) Alright back to my main point. I'm posting to ask whether anyone of you are going back to RVPS esp. during the CNY period?? I would suppose I will be going unless something crams up in the last minute like curriculum?? Cuz we celebrating on 28 Jan i believe...
